Requirements:

- Enrollment in a four year college or university program
- Graduating seniors are welcome
- Knowledge of basic HTML

What We Look For:

All candidates must have a direct interest in social media and online marketing. We accept all majors/degrees, but an advertising or marketing related program is preferred. We seek candidates with strong verbal and written communication skills, creative strategic thinking, and previous experience with social media marketing.

Our comprehensive 12 week student internship program provides hands on experience working with real-world projects and actual clients. Throughout this concept driven internship, you will be exposed to many aspects of the online advertising industry. In addition, each Phlint intern will be assigned a personal aid counselor that will help to motivate and positively reinforce creativity in design.

Graphic Design Intern

Project Manager
Accounts | Santa Clara, California

We are looking for a Project Manager with both mobile and web application development experience. A proven track record and experience with all facets of user experience design will catch our attention.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with clients to define a list of specific variables dependent on project
- Understand basic back-end engineering abilities and have knowledge of basic HTML/CSS
- Have an eye for design and specific attention to consistency with branding and aesthetic appeal
- Create detailed WireFrames and detailed spec sheets based off of project scope and client needs
- Communicate with development team and ensure deadlines and milestones are met

REQUIREMENTS:

- 1-3 years experience project management for web or mobile platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communications.
- Strong knowledge of design applications: Adobe products and other graphic presentation application such as Keynote, OmniGraffle, and Balsamiq
- Demonstrated experience working with a team of engineers to produce a finalized user experience

Web User Interface Designer
Design | Santa Clara, California

We are in search of a talented individual that is a self-starter that has experience with web development/design and the digital advertising industry. A proven track record and experience with all facets of user experience design will catch our attention.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design a unique and highly efficient user interface for web programs and applications as part of the overall user experience and brand image.
- Understand basic back-end engineering abilities and have knowledge of basic HTML/CSS
- Strong understand of cross-browser and cross-platform issues.
- Work with the user testing team to turn feedback into realistic changes that increase aesthetics and efficiency with the overal UEX in mind.
- Visual aptitude and attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 1-3 years experience user interface design for web platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communications.

Web Content Developer
Marketing and Advertising | Santa Clara, California

We are in search of a talented individual that is a self-starter that has experience with the online marketing and advertising industry. A proven track record and experience with HTML/CSS will catch our attention and make the ideal candidate stand out.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Website programming — produce web pages from a variety of sources, leveraging new content, existing graphic assets, and templates. When needed create new template and pages from Photoshop files.
- Competent with current web standards, HTML/CSS, and SEO.
- Strong understand of cross-browser and cross-platform issues.
- HTML email programming — produce emails using inline styles and HTML/CSS from Photoshop files.
- Web content management — Work with existing content management system and marketing automation tools, including MySQL and eCommerce systems such as Magento and Shopify.
- Visual aptitude and attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 1-3 years experience producing commercial web sites, content and email.
- Excellent verbal and written communications.
- Strong knowledge of web technology stack, including: HTML, XHTML, CSS, and XML in web publishing/templates. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, and PHP.
- Demonstrated experience building cross-browser/platform HTML email templates from scratch and/or .PSD files.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining content management system templates and websites
